Parking Ordinance 681, prohibiting parking in certain locations, certain days and hours
Roads affected by this ordinance include the following: Laurel Hill, Sullivan, Dogwood, Breezewood, Lynnwood, Manorwood, Pinewood, Overdale, Daniel, Cascade, Revenue. Fieldstone, Edgewood, Gates Park, Schauffler, Longview, Brierwood, Vivjon.
The Ordinance states that vehicles on the above streets cannot park on the street between the hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 am, Sunday through Saturday. During these times, all vehicles must be parked in the driveway area of the dwelling in which the owner or operator of said vehicle either resides or is visiting.
Special permits are available at the Borough building for those that must park on the street due to unavailable car space in their driveways. Permits will be issued for the following reasons:
- Lack of appropriate driveway or parking pad space upon which to park all registered vehicles of residents at said address, that does not exceed the number of household licensed drivers.
- Visitors temporarily staying with a resident for a certain period of time.
- Special events such as a social gathering, holiday party, graduation party, etc.
Vehicles are prohibited from parking on the grassy area surrounding or abutting a structure on the designated thoroughfares, or on any other surface on said real property that has not been approved by the Borough.

Per Ordinance 709, no vehicle shall be permitted to stand or park upon any street, for a 24 hour period, or at a minimum, until the street is plowed, salted and / or cinders applied, following the accumulation of snow and / or ice. This will help up to keep the streets clear, safe for your travel and allow access for emergency vehicles.

*Parking permits are issued annually. Residents must apply every year. 2023 Parking Permit application will be available in December.
